My paintings are a celebration of the beauty of the natural world. I have always felt a strong connection with plants and animals, and have been fascinated by the intense beauty they possess. I strive to share this love with my audience by observing deeply, and painting images that joyfully explore the color, forms and patterns that natural objects have to offer. My process begins with a digital single lens reflex camera, often with a macro lens. My camera comes with me to all the beautiful places that I visit.
